Upcoming Workshop: Low-Code Biomedical Data Analysis with GenAI and Parallel Computing in MATLAB – April 7th

Dear CRCD Users,

We are pleased to announce an upcoming MATLAB workshop:

Low-Code Biomedical Data Analysis with GenAI and Parallel Computing in MATLAB

Date: Tuesday, April 7th

Time: 10 AM – 11:30 AM EDT

Location: In-person and online

   • In-person: CRCD, 4420 Bayard Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 – Room 311A (3rd floor)

   • Remote: Register below and login instructions will be sent via email

This session will walk participants through importing, visualizing, analyzing, and modeling biomedical data using MATLAB’s interactive tools. Interactive tools can also auto-generate MATLAB code, making it easy to build reproducible, programmatic workflows.

Highlights

  • Accessing data from files, software, hardware, and more

  • Interactive tools for data visualization, cleaning, and modeling

  • Auto-generating reproducible MATLAB code from interactive work

  • Using MATLAB Copilot to write, comment, and explain code

  • Creating and sharing automatically generated reports

  • Overview of GPU-accelerated capabilities for HPC workflows

Who Should Attend

This workshop is ideal for those new to MATLAB, though experienced users will also benefit from the latest tools and features — including MATLAB Copilot, a GenAI-powered assistant built directly into the MATLAB desktop environment.
