The 2018 conference of Practice and Experience in Advanced Research Computing (PEARC18) will be held in Pittsburgh July 22-26.
As part of a range of programs and speakers, PEARC18 will provide undergraduate and graduate students with targeted student activities. PEARC18 also offers the opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to contribute posters and papers.
For all student attendees, PEARC18 will include a one-day intensive collaborative modeling and analysis challenge; a session on careers in high-performance computing; participation in the technical program; a mentorship program; and opportunities for students to volunteer to assist with conference activities. PEARC18 encourages attendance by participants from diverse backgrounds to bring together researchers, students, and prospective users from under-represented groups and new disciplines.
